David Peredun

David was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and currently lives in Barrie Ontario. He started playing drums at the age of 8, in which he was an active member of orchestras and community groups and festivals, become exposed to a numerous amount of musical styles such as funk, rock, metal and classical music. He began taking private lessons where he learnt how to read and develop his skills whilst becoming influence by drummers such as Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, and many more.

After finishing school, David completed a Bachelor of Arts of Music at Algoma Conservatory of Music, Algoma University (2018). David has since played in and been recorded on various original projects, spanning a wide range of genres.

In 2025, David directed the Canadian Musician’s Cooperative “Barns2Beaches” Tour.
